Trust – Exposing The Root

It wasn’t that I didn’t trust you,  

but rather, I was tired of trusting someone else over myself.

I trusted you too much, which is and was burdensome. 

I’m not sorry for trusting myself, 

but I am sorry that it was received as lack of trust in you.
