Exhibition Overview
With the centennial of Route 66 upon us, we invite you to join us in a deep imagining of the various stories and narratives that coincide with this historic passage. Exploring the perspective of place, collective consciousness, and the daily lives of the people who work and live along the route, past, present, and future. Considering what the natural environment looked like before the route was constructed and how its appearance changed throughout its development. Placing ourselves into brief moments in the lives of the people who used Route 66. Envisioning what the future would bring, its impact on generations, and how the passage would evolve and expand over time. This exhibition features Christian Gallegos, Ben Roe Jr, and Jen Doolittle.
