Colours

It started off as a strong need to create abstract landscapes and use 6B graphite pencil, exploring tints and shades within the pencil, going from hard to soft, etc. And then I wanted to do color, bright colors, free-forming it. Once the first piece was complete I realized that it reminded me of someone, who the piece is now named after. Then a new spark came to continue exploring bright colors, loose forms and certain people came to mind. By the end I realized I was doing a type of portraiture or perspective landscape of those individuals and how I see them in color and in form.
