RUN, DON’T WALK is a poetic, damning, intoxicating, fast-step-paced Ring Around The Rosie that you can’t help but be drawn into and become lost in for 10min and 34secs. 

aDAN’s lyrics and Miao Miao Flow’s violins and composition support and compliment the other in such a tragic damning beautiful manner. Comprised of three songs WHY AM I HERE, CHROMATIC, and GARDEN OF MINE, takes us through the thought process of when you doubt yourself, how you got there and why, personal responsibility, acceptance and trust that you are heading in the right direction, because you are the keeper of your dreams, of your life. 

My favorite song is CHROMATIC. CHROMATIC shares the feeling and experience of when you knowingly ignore when things don’t feel right in your body and then come into discernment and clarity that you will no longer stand for it from yourself or from others. Lastly, reminding us to surrender with the realization that what is for us will come back to us when it’s time.  

I’ve enjoyed both ADan’s and Miao Miao Flow’s catalogs and look forward to new music from these artists. I definitely recommend giving ADan’s 2022 album, 倒敘, translated as Flashback, and Miao Miao Flow’s 2022 album Szu Chien Lu a listen. Please note that ADan’s album is sung in Taiwanese Mandarin, but you will definitely feel it, I promise. And Miao Miao Flow’s Szu Chien is an instrumental mood! Stay tuned for reviews of these albums.
