An Artist to Watch, Luke Chiang

Luke Chiang
Collection of Singles + Eps
Language: English

Back in 2019, Luke Chiang released what I would consider timeless singles; Used to me, Paragraph, shouldn’t be, and May I ask, which was quite timely considering the state of the world at the time.

Luke’s music resonates so deeply with many because he taps into and conveys the ebb and flows one experiences in romantic relationships. His lyrics evoke the frustrations and excitement of longing and belonging. The shyness of being in a shared space, having the courage to share and be vulnerable, the frustrations, deep infatuation, and the shameless and all-encompassing eagerness that overwhelms you, while owning your insecurities, desires, and more. He skillfully does this in a respectful, tender, honest, and transparent manner.

His music serves as a reminder to be fully present in one’s feelings. To not avoid them but rather something to embrace wholeheartedly and see them as a lesson in self-preservation and self-care. It’s clear that he connects genuinely and authentically with his audience in an intimate and introspective way.

He continues to release new music that creates a ripple resonance; Static and Never Tell. His first studio album will be one for the books. And I can’t wait to see where he takes us next.

Luke Chiang’s music can be found on YouTube and streamed on Spotify and Apple Music.
